We've Got a Finish!

Hurray! It's been at least three years since I bought this chart, maybe even a bit longer. I saw it on the shelf of my LNS and thought it was the most beautiful cross stitch pumpkin I'd ever seen.  I still think so too :) Recently I've been in a finishing frenzy kind of mood. After having lost my stitchy bug for a bit, I can't tell you how good it feels to be back in the saddle. First I got a finish on the Tangerines, now this. Here it is, J is for Jack-O-Lantern by The Prairie Schooler: Those yellow flowers are stunning! And that cat looks like it's been freaked out. My, what a happy looking pumpkin in the bottom right. More photos: My goal was to finish it by the end of September, but I went just a little bit passed that since I finished it up this morning. But that's close enough and good enough for me!  Next step, on to the Halloween Moon! Happy Stitching! Marisol

A Finish

Drum roll! 🥁 I've got a finish! I present to you, Still Life with Tangerines by Luca S Isn't it a beauty? This one is definitely getting framed soon. Such an enjoyable project. It looks tricky, but it was pretty simple to follow the chart. The symbols weren't too similar looking (which can be a pain) the Aida was a nice size, small but not too small. Think it's 18 count. The half stitches went by pretty quickly, and I am very pleased with how the shading turned out.  Feels great to have a finish! Happy stitching! Marisol
