House and Key Sampler #2 PDF Chart





New chart! I really enjoyed designing that key. It has such an antique look to it, don’t you think?

Details:

The House and Key Sampler #2 cross stitch chart features an alphabet, an antique key, and a house with smoke wafting out of the chimney. This could be stitched for your own house, placed on a desk, or given as a housewarming gift. It could be framed, made into a wall hanging or pillow, and placed by your front door to greet every house guest.

On the pictured model above, I used one color throughout, DMC 311. The fabric is 18 count Ivory Aida.
Finished Size on 18 count Aida: 11.28 cm x 11.28 cm (4 1/2" x 4 1/2")
Stitch Count: 80 wide x 80 high.
In the pictured model above, I added initials. These initials will not be shown in the chart that is sent to you, that area will be left blank so that you can insert your own initials using the alphabet from the sampler if you wish.
This is a PDF digital download cross stitch chart. Nothing will be physically sent to you.

While I do have that book as a paper-back, I’m really enjoying reading with my Kindle. I can stay up late (as late as I can before I fall asleep face first into my pillow) and hear the owls hooting or the traffic driving past my window in the distance. If the weather stays as dark and gloomy as the weatherman says it will, then I foresee reading to the sound of thunder and rain as well. What’s not to like about that? Jane Austen Cross Stitch Patterns

My Current Rotation

Cross Stitch Update  Today I'd like to introduce you to my rotation.   But first, let me explain how I choose what to stitch on everyday. I use a lottery system, mostly because I have a lot of wip's right now, and partly because I'm terrible at making decisions. I used to spend so much time agonizing over which one to stitch on. It also means that I spend a good amount of time on all of my wip's, not just the ones that are calling to me. I have gotten two  finishes since I started using this system at the beginning of the year.   I have seen some Flosstubers using an app, but my Mother and I thought that this would be much more fun after seeing Sitchin' Mommy use a similar system on her Flosstube channel for her Arbitrary August videos. The only day that I don't use the lottery is on Sunday. I stitch on whatever is calling to me on Sundays.   I used eight glass beads- the kind you buy at the dollar store- and labeled them A through H with a Sharpie. Then I...
