Parrot Sampler Freebie

Parrot Sampler Picture
Parrot Sampler by EmnEllie

Summer stitching is here! This is a free cross stitch chart, designed by me, just download the pdf.

A tropical scene, a cute parrot surrounded by an alphabet and blooming pink blossoms. Stitch this slice of the tropics for a fan of parrots. Brighten up an office with these cheerful colors! This would also be a charming addition to a child's bedroom.

On the pictured model above I used a total of 9 colors, all of them DMC. The colors are:
844  434  822  4050  4210  4240  3865  3821  3716

The fabric is an off white linen, 32 count.

I stitched the model using 1 strand of floss over 2

Stitch count is 90 x 90

Finished size is approximately 14.3 cm x 14.3 cm ( 5 3/4"  x 5 3/4" ) on 32 count linen over 2.

Here's the pdf:

Happy Stitching!

While I do have that book as a paper-back, I’m really enjoying reading with my Kindle. I can stay up late (as late as I can before I fall asleep face first into my pillow) and hear the owls hooting or the traffic driving past my window in the distance. If the weather stays as dark and gloomy as the weatherman says it will, then I foresee reading to the sound of thunder and rain as well. What’s not to like about that? It would be absolutely unacceptable if I mentioned the Phantom ...
