Fabric, Moving the Q-Snap, and Fall Beverages

Phone Stand Pillow In my last post, I mentioned making a phone stand pillow. My first step was deciding which fabric to use. After going on an expedition through the Castle's fabric room, I've decided on these prints: I want to make more than one phone stand. One for when I'm reading, stitching, watching TV, etc. While I probably (famous last words, haha) won't use all of these fabrics, I still have to decide who stays and who goes. More on that in my next post, so stay tuned. WIP Update Here's where I got to since last time: Medieval Menagerie by Fox and Rabbit Designs Behold! A finished phoenix! I'm very fond of this phoenix. Don't those feathers look magnificent? As an added bonus for finishing this first dazzling bird, I can move my Q-Snap, which is always a treat. It gives one such a great sense of accomplishment. As for my next steps, I'll start stitching the other phoenix and the remaining motifs in this band before I begin stitching the egg in...

Sparkling Water, a Bookworm Chart, and a Phone Stand Pillow

Sparkling Water Sparkling water is absolutely delicious. It’s Summertime here at the Castle, so anything that can make the Summer a little less hot, and a little more refreshing is always a welcome addition to the Castle pantry. I’m very fortunate in that my local grocery store has a wide variety of flavors available. I prefer the unsweetened ones. My most recent favorites have been Lemon (a classic), and strawberry (very tasty, and the can is pretty too). As I’m writing this, I’m sipping on an orange flavored one. It tastes like a healthier version of Fanta. Like if Fanta had a cousin who was really into fitness. A Bookworm Chart I’ve added a new chart to my shop: My Library by EmnEllie This is a great cross stitch chart for all bookworms! With motifs inspired by Victorian wallpaper and the covers of vintage books, you can use this as decor for your bookshelves or add it to your favorite reading spot. You could make it for yourself or gift it to someone who loves reading. Here a...
